Pointe 6609 - 4 BR Classic

this was a beautiful condo. we could see the river from our balcony. we had plenty of room for everyone, nice and spacious. very clean and accommodating. The pool area was fun. The only issue was not reading through the entire email and we got confused about where to check in. We tried to drive to the place but had to back track to another place to check in. overall, it was a nice place to stay. Review on Airbnb

We really enjoyed our stay and the complex is really nice! It was great to spend time at the community pool (indoor and outdoor) and hot tub. The location was great! As others have stated, we wish there weren't missing pieces to the blinds as the sun came in right on our faces in the morning, and we did have some issues with people being too hot and cold because of the way the ac is done (although it wasn't too bad, and I'm not sure what could be done about it). Also I wish there was a baby gate available or some warning about small children and the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs. They are very steep and I worried about my daughter trying to climb them and falling. If I had known, I'd have brought our baby gate. But the rooms are nice and so was the living room. We really liked sitting out on the balcony too, and several members of our group went walking each morning along a really pretty trail right outside. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. Review on Airbnb

Beautiful and spacious. Very clean. King bedroom down with master bath plus another queen bedroom down. Second bathroom down also. Upstairs, large king bedroom and small queen bedroom with bath and loft in between the two rooms. The upstairs small bedroom was warm in the warm weather, but the extra AC unit in the loft pointed toward that bedroom helped. Would not recommend if you like to do your own cooking as the kitchen cooking wares were not good and only the two small burners on the stove worked (and they took a long time to get really hot). Hotplate also provided, but it also took a long time to get hot. We did very little cooking, so not a big problem for us. - Reviewed on Airbnb

Check in was easy. The location (close to town)and amenities (pool, tennis courts, golf) were good. The condo could’ve been better. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fine, except the pull out upstairs was broken. The portable upstairs air conditioner hose was coming off. Downstairs floor had a soft spot in the middle that needs to be fixed. Also, the range large burners didn’t work, which was a real inconvenience when your cooking for a large family. Cookware and storage were lacking. None of this was told to us at check in. Lack of grills for cooking outside. I would probably stay at Pointe Royale again, just not this unit. - Reviewed on VRBO

We stayed in building 66 which overlooks the lake and is just east of the damn. There was a playground and easy access to fishing right out our back door. The golf course is beautiful and pretty challenging to play. Our condo was exactly as described and made us feel like we were at “home”. Would definitely stay here again - Reviewed on VRBO

The unit was very clean went we got there because all you could smell was disinfectant (that was a good thing). The unit was down the hill a short walk from the pool, the playground and grills were right behind the unit. We had 6 adults and 5 kids and the place was big enough for all of us. All in all we had a great week at the resort. The only thing that we had a issue with was the stove top was not working and we were not informed at check-in, however there were two hot plates that worked out really well. I did mention this at check-out and was informed the owner is supposed to be replacing the stove this week. - Reviewed on VRBO

The condo is great! All the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The location of the condo is amazing. It is at the back of a golf resort. The resort is gated and very quiet! So peaceful! Check in was quick and easy. Check out was even easier! :) Communication with [the staff] was great. Response time, almost immediate. I also received a call the day of the our check in letting me know the house was ready early, if we wanted to arrive earlier than 4:00pm. That was very cool. The place was great and suited us for what we needed. However the stove only half worked which made it very hard to feed a family of 12. And the upstairs bedrooms remained at least 4-5 degrees hotter than the downstairs rooms even with ac turned down lower. Other than those it was a pretty good place to stay. We enjoyed our stay in this space. The rooms were all pretty large, and were perfect for fitting pack and plays for each family's kids. We also enjoyed the close proximity to a playground and the river behind the building. Unit was clean and the host was responsive and able to give us a late check out (which was needed for a group with three kids under one!) The stove's two larger burners don't work, which made cooking for our large group very difficult. There also weren't any bowls for cooking, which also complicated things. - Reviewed on Airbnb
