Wander Inn: Top-Tier 2 BR Lakeside Hideaway w/ Private Hot Tub

Recently discovered Wander Inn on a couples trip — WOW. Off the beaten path, but so worth the extra mile to reach this hidden gem! The woods just open up to a secluded but expansive view of the lake down below. This cottage has two bedrooms with incredibly comfortable King beds and a million thoughtful details that let you know the owners actually stay here! Nightlights, vanity mirrors, steamers, ceiling fans, and a truly furnished kitchen and coffee bar. The hot tub was sparkling clean and a perfect 104 degrees. Close to everything Branson has to offer, but tucked away in a world all your own. We've stayed in dozens of BnBs; Wander Inn exceeded our expectations on every level. Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed the stay and my kids (10 & 11) both agreed it was our best vacation yet because the pool, game table, and surroundings were great for them and for us adults as well. The hot tub was clean other than a little bit of dirt on the bottom the house was great but you could tell there were dogs there prior (not a big deal) we loved the views of the lake just wish we had easy access to it so we could fish but there is a campground and boat ramp down the road less than half a mile.

The house is fantastic… spacious rooms, all the amenities, especially the coffee bar… the espresso machine was a nice touch. The host was responsive and the place is exactly as advertised. The patio is so relaxing with a view of the lake.

Absolutely wonderful community of homes. The neighbors are very close and their occupants range from elderly to young people on bachelor trips. There was always someone walking around to start a conversation with. Most enjoyed a long walk with a grandmother who was there for a dance competition near by. The house was perfect. We all had a tv. Plenty of space.

Beautiful home ! Modern and clean. Nicely appointed with many details. Very spacious and overall a great stay for the price. The only downside was that the home was about 20 minutes to most restaurants.

My 92 year old grandmother and I stayed 3 nights here . It was so peaceful and relaxing. We used the hot tub everyday. When we walked in we were surprised to be greeted with elegant Christmas decor and the fireplace glowing. Everything was clean and fresh. Check in and check out were seamless , and communication from the host was pleasant. I highly recommend this place !

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful and clean and the lake could be seen from the property. It was located close to the outdoor and indoor pool areas. The hot tub was so relaxing at the end of the night and it was nice that there were curtains to have a little more privacy. Having a tv on the patio to watch our shows while in the hot tub was a true luxury! The house was easy to find but also in a secluded area. We stayed during the week so it was very quiet and like we had the entire area to ourselves which was nice. The house was located close enough to Branson to do all of the things we wanted to. A little touch that was kind of cool was that all the light switches/remotes were labeled so it was easy to know which switches turned on which lights etc. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was super cute! We loved the porch and inside decor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we would need or want. Location was an easy drive to State Park Marina for boat rental, which is what we were there to do. The pool was nice, although we really didn't utilize it because there were so many families with young children in it. The house was clean and communication was good. My only negative (and this is only my opinion) was the beds were extremely soft. They had a memory foam layer with a soft mattress, so those that like a medium to firm mattress won't love the beds. Thank you for a great spot for our last minute lake getaway.

I recently booked this Airbnb to celebrate my son's 8th birthday in Branson. It was amazing!! Everything about the house was as listed. It was so nice and clean. We felt at home. The hot tub was great. My son basically lived in it. He is already missing it. We even walked down to the community pool. The pool is perfect for big and small kids. My son made so many friends and had a great time. I will definitely be booking again if I am ever planning a trip to Branson again. I almost forgot to mention how beautiful the lake is. Such a great view from the house!

Our stay was everything you hope in a rental. The staff and home owner were proactive as a storm rolled through the night before. Some last minute cleanup was needed and they were very communicative of the needs and were completed before check-in. The house was spotless and check-in and out was a breeze. We really loved this trip to Branson and the house made it over the top with a cozy retreat after a long day of fun. I would highly recommend the Wander Inn in Hollister!

We read some comments about cleanliness being bad and other things. DO NOT LISTEN to those. We brought a black light just out of curiosity lol. It was perfect. We travel a lot and this has been the cleanest and one of the most fun places we have been. The house was clean lots of games for the kids.the coffee bar was stocked. Make up wash clothes. Our original cabin was double booked after we had previously changed our reservation from a few weeks back. Thousand Hills Vacation was very responsive and found a new place ASAP. They ended up giving us a place near their check-in office and was a great location in Indian Point. It was just close enough to be able to go do things but still felt far enough away from the main parts of Branson. With our vacation starting off a little bad they made up for it with their upgraded place and their communication to check on us throughout the stay. I would high recommend Thousand Hills Vacations. White glove cleanliness, with contemporary 2024 updated beautiful design, and instantly feels like my home away from home. My 4-person all adult family and I stayed for 5 days, and it was the best experience I have ever had at an AirBnB. And I vacation 2x per year. These hosts have thought of it all! Beautiful pool area just literally steps from your patio. The hot tub is clean and spacious. Bathrooms were beautiful, and beds were like sleeping on a huge pillow. We loved our stay! Close to the pool, just wish the other gate to the pool was unlocked. House felt like home and very clean. Beds were comfortable, towels and extra blankets were a nice touch. Had an issue with the tv remote when we first got there but they fixed it quick and got us a new one even on a Sunday! Quick responses when I had any questions. Quiet, private, family friendly, peaceful and great views. The landscaping is beautiful and well taken care of, grill on the patio and hot tub were awesome, kitchen was stocked and thankful the paper towels and extra trash bags were there! We had a great stay! The unit was clean, beautiful and fully stocked with all the comforts of home. It was easy enough to find, close to Branson but quiet with views of the lake! The hot tub was a huge plus for us and we loved the tv on the patio for relaxing after a full day. This unit is right by the pool, noise was minimal but something to note when you open your blinds that people walking by could easily see in and your unit is by a very walkable area.
